Mabagal (Moira & Daniel) Fingerstyle Guitar Cover

Here is my fingerstyle guitar cover of the song Mabagal by Moira dela Torre and Daniel Padilla.  This song was entry to Himig Handog 2019.  The guitar I used for this fingerstyle cover was Crafter T035 acoustic electric guitar.  The audio was recorded only using the external microphone and not using the built-in pickup of the guitar.

Fishman Sonitone Pickup Test on Martin 000RSGT Acoustic Electric Guitar

This is the continuation of my demo of Martin 000RSGT acoustic electric guitar.  This time I plugged-in a micro USB cable to Fishman Sonitone pickup and connected the other end of USB cable to my laptop.  I recorded the guitar track using Audacity software.  The sound coming from the pickup is also impressive.  Watch the video to hear my guitar recording.

Wonderful Tonight (Eric Clapton) 2 Guitars Fingerstyle Cover

Here is just a simple and short fingerstyle guitar cover of the song by Join The Club entitled Nobela.  I used capo on the first fret for this cover.  The guitar I used was Crafter TC-035 acoustic electric guitar.  The audio was recorded using Audio Technica AT-2020 condenser microphone directly connected to camera microphone input.

Martin Acoustic Guitar Truss Rod Adjustment DIY

Here is my simple tip on truss rod adjustment of Martin acoustic guitar.  Martin guitars have very deep truss rod adjustment head and need special allen (hex) wrench in order to reach it.  I showed in this video the specific tool needed and mentioned also where it can be purchased.  The guitar model shown here was Martin 000RSGT Road Series acoustic electric guitar.

Guitar Tips: Fret Buzz on Acoustic Guitar - How to Fix Guide

This is my simple guide about fret buzz.  I mentioned in the video the different causes of fret buzz and how to fix fret buzz problem.  I also put the link in the video description in YouTube on the possible ways to fix it such as proper guitar setup and fret leveling.  Check out the video as I have shown the actual samples of fret buzz that I encountered on this particular guitar.  At the end of the video, I played again the guitar after I have fixed and eliminated the fret buzz.

G7th Performance 3 Capo Review & Demo (with ART or Adaptive Radius Technology)

This is another G7th Capo that I want to show you and make a demo.  This time the model is Performance 3.  It is almost similar to the previous version that I have shown in my channel which the G7th Performance 2.  The main difference that I noticed was that this model employs the ART or Adaptive Radius Technology.  This design enables the capo to adapt to any fingerboard radius thereby eliminating the problem on fret buzz.  Checkout my video for more details and explanations.

Guitar Tip: How to avoid breaking strings while tuning the guitar

Here is my simple tip on how to avoid breaking strings when tuning a guitar.  Even brand new strings will break if installation is not done properly.  Most cases of string breaks is caused by the string being stuck on the nut slot.  This will cause extreme amount of string tension between post and nut until the string breaks.  Checkout the video to avoid this from happening.

Cort AD810 Acoustic Guitar Demo Review

This is a great sounding Cort guitar.  It has a lot of chips and scratches but the playability is excellent.  I replaced the broken saddle with a new one and restrung the guitar with Elixir strings.  This is an older version of Cort AD810 as seen on the headstock.  The headstock only has Cort logo without any symbol like diamond as can be seen on present day Cort acoustic guitars.

Taylor ES1 vs KNA SG-1 Acoustic Guitar Pickup Comparison

This is just my experiment on acoustic guitar pickups.  I installed a KNA SG-1 piezo pickup on my Taylor 214ce.  This Taylor guitar is has a built-in ES1 pickup.  The latest generation this guitars have ES2 or Expression System 2.  I then recorded both outputs of these pickup on Zoom Q8 mic inputs.  Checkout the video and hear the results of this comparison.

KNA SG-1 Acoustic Guitar Pickup Demo Review

In this video I tried my new acoustic guitar pickup.  This is KNA (Kremona) SG-1 acoustic guitar pickup. This is passive pickup designed to be placed just beside the bridge saddle of an acoustic guitar.  I showed in the video how I installed the pickup on my Taylor acoustic guitar.  I also recorded using the output from this SG-1 pickup.  Check out the sound produced from this KNA SG-1 pickup.  Thanks.

Love Me For What I Am (Carpenters) Fingerstyle Guitar Cover with SLOW Demo

Dunlop 65 String Cleaner and Conditioner Test on Old Guitar Strings

This is the second time I showed using this Dunlop 65 String Cleaner and Conditioner.  But this time, I tried it on a very dull set of strings on Takamine EG340C acoustic electric guitar.  Hear for yourself the difference in guitar sound before and after cleaning the strings.  Although, the tone is not comparable to a brand new strings, I can hear a reasonable improvement in the sound of the guitar.

This is another Takamine acoustic electric guitar that I played and reviewed in YouTube.  The model is EG340SC acoustic electric guitar.  This is a part of G-series model.  It has TP-4T Preamp with built-in tuner.  I played the guitar and recorded using external microphone as well as recorded using electronics output from the guitar.  Checkout the tone between these two recordings. I played here Open Arms by Journey.  I played the first part without capo and the second part with capo on the 2nd fret.  The whole song can be played with or without capo but I showed both to see variation in chord progression while maintaining the pitch.

The guitar I used in this video was Epiphone AJ220S and used CAD GXL2200 condenser mic in addition to Zoom Q8 XY microphone for recording audio.  Check it  out.

Morris F-18 Acoustic Guitar Review Demo

This video is about my Morris F-18 acoustic guitar demo and review.  This guitar has small body, OOO or OM shape acoustic guitar.  This guitar was made in Japan in 1970's but by just looking at it, you can't really say this is old.  It is neat and hardly any scratches and dents.  The neck is straight and no fret wear.  The sound is great but a small bodied guitar.  I restrung the guitar with Martin M175 80/20 Bronze custom light gauge strings set.  Check out the video to hear the sound of this guitar.

String Butler Installation Demo

In this video, I showed how I installed String Butler on Epiphone acoustic guitar.  At the same time, I did guitar restringing.  This is easy to install.  It is not necessary to re-string the guitar to install this String Butler.

KNA UP-1 (Kremona) Acoustic Guitar Pickup Unboxing Demo Review

My review of another acoustic guitar pickup.  This one is KNA UP-1 piezo-electric acoustic guitar pickup.  This pickup is passive thus it does not need any battery.  It is just being attached to the guitar top using a double adhesive tape or blu-tack.  Please see my video to hear the sound produced on the passive guitar pickup.
