Taylor 214ce vs Guild AO3-CE Acoustic Electric Guitars Comparison

In this video I compared my two acoustic electric guitars, the Taylor 214ce and Guild Arcos AO3-CE. The two guitars are very similar in shape. Taylor has Grand Auditorium shape while Guild has Orchestra shape. Both have solid Sitka spruce top. I restrung both guitars with Elixir Polyweb 80/20 Light gauge strings to eliminate the differences in the string tone. Please check out my video and hear for yourself.

My demo review of Taylor 214ce acoustic electric guitar. Solid Sitka spruce top, layered rosewood back and sides, ebony bridge and fingerboard, Tusq saddle and Nubone nut, ES-T preamp pickup system. I restrung the guitar with Elixir Polyweb 80/20 light gauge strings instead of Elixir Nanoweb which is the install in Taylor guitars factory.

Cort NTL-20 Acoustic Guitar Demo / Review

Another guitar demo for today. This time, I review and demo Cort NTL-20 acoustic guitar. This guitar has solid Sitka Spruce top and Solid Mahogany Back. The sides are Mahogany as well as the guitar neck. Unfortunately, the previous owner might have replaced the tuners for unknown reason. The original tuners for this NTL-20 are Grover Super Rotomatic. But now, these were replaced by standard diecast chrome tuners. However, they just work fine and hold the tune well. Please watch the video to hear the tone of this guitar.

Tatlong Bibe - Fingerstyle Guitar Cover

My simple version of fingerstyle guitar for the song Tatlong Bibe (Nursery Song). I used capo on the 5th fret and used only A and E major chords in arranging the fingerstyle melody.

The guitar that I used here was Yamaha FG700S and the microphone I used was Neewer NW-700.

Here is another Yamaha FG700S that I review. It has solid Sitka spruce top, Nato back and sides, and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Unlike the first FG700S that I reviewed, this one has satin finish neck while the first one has glossy finish neck. I played "Endless Love" by Lionel Richie duet with Diana Ross in this video.

How to Lower the Saddle on Takamine Acoustic Electric Guitar

A short video on tips on lowering the saddle height of Takamine acoustic electric guitar with undersaddle pickup. In this video, I just removed the three plastic shims under the saddle pickup. Luckily, I did not need to shave the saddle as the height of the shims being remove was perfect for my requirement.

My short demo and review of Seagull S6 Original Slim acoustic guitar. This is made by Godin Guitars in Canada. This model is identical to Seagull S6 Original. The only difference I think is that the nut width is narrow as compared to a wider nut width of the S6 Original. I just restrung the guitar with Godin A6LT Phosphor Bronze strings set. This set is the original strings that are being installed in Seagull S6 from the factory.

My demo/review of Yamaha FG700S acoustic guitar. This is a full size dreadnought shape guitar with glossy finish. It has solid Sitka spruce top, nato back and sides, and nato neck. It is fitted with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. I noticed that this guitar is using platic nut and saddle. I good upgrade would be replacing these with bones. It has well balanced sound but I guess it is lacking a little bit at the lower end.

Cort MR 710F Acoustic Electric Guitar Demo Review

Demo review of Cort MR-710F acoustic electric guitar. The model that I got is made in Korea. The Cort logo, model and serial number were engraved inside the body and can be seen through the sound hole. Specs: Dreadnought body shape with Venetian cutaway, Solid Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, Mahogany neck, Chrome tuners with black button, Fishman Classic 4t Pickup system.

My new fingerstyle cover arrangement of the famous song by Rey Valera "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buiok Ko". This song was also popularized by Noel Cabangon, Sharon Cuneta and many more. The guitar I used in this video was Morris MF201N acoustic guitar with DR LH12 High-Beam 80-20 light gauge strings.

Here is my short demo of Morris MF201N acoustic guitar. I restrung the guitar with a set of DR HA12 Hi-Beam 80-20 acoustic guitar strings. This guitar has small body and short scale length. The total length is 99.5 cm and scale length is 63 cm.
